Floating Vinyasas
An exploration of lift, lightness, and the quiet intelligence of breath in motion.

A workshop on creating more ease, lift, and intelligence in your vinyasa transitions.
Rather than forcing the body to “jump,” we explore how breath, shoulder stability, core connection, and forward weight shift can make movement feel lighter and more fluid.
Through accessible drills and progressive variations, we work with jump-backs, jump-throughs, and floating transitions, alongside drills and movement exercises that you can continue to practise long after the workshop.
We’ll explore why these transitions exist within the practice—not simply as demonstrations of strength, but as opportunities to cultivate precision, awareness, efficiency of movement and embodied control.
This workshop will include :
Techniques for creating lightness and lift
Progressive drills for jump-throughs & jump backs.
Strength and mobility exercises that support floating
Common obstacles and how to overcome them
How to integrate these skills into a regular yoga practice
This workshop is for you if:
You want to feel more confident in your vinyasa transitions
You are curious about floating, jumping, or moving more gracefully through your practice
You want practical techniques broken down and have more time to practise and feel these techniques in your body.
Suitable for practitioners with an established yoga practice who are comfortable with Chaturanga and Downward Dog. Participants should have a regular vinyasa practice and be able to comfortably support their body weight through their hands.

Taste of Black Lotus Yoga
An embodied journey through mythology, breath, movement, and philosophy.
This is the yoga of breathing down into our bodies and making space for creative powers to unfold from the depths of our being.
Not about transcending and escaping our human lives but turning towards the deepest darkest corners of our being with the light of awareness.
Black Lotus explores yoga as a contemplative relationship between Awareness/Consciousness and Prana (life force energy).
Beginning with the mythological origins of yoga, we trace how consciousness expresses itself through breath, body, and movement. The energetic principles of Prana & Apana - as the most crucial movement patterns of organic life and how these patterns manifest in our asana practice.
Through mythology, movement, pranayama, and chanting, this workshop offers a direct experience of the principles that penetrate deep into the heart of the yogic tradition.
What you'll Explore
The Mythological origins of yoga through the story of Shiva, Shakti and the serpent - Ananta Shesha
Energetic principles of Prana and Apana and learning how to feel and work with them in asana.
An short integrative - Black Lotus Yoga practice combining movement, pranayama, mantra chanting and meditation
This workshop is for you if:
You want to understand the deeper philosophy behind yoga through through the felt sense of our own body
You are interested in breath, energy, embodiment, tantra, & meditation
You enjoy learning through direct experience rather than concepts alone
You are curious about the foundations of the Black Lotus approach
This workshop is suitable for curious beginners, experienced practitioners, and yoga teachers interested in exploring yoga as a lived practice.

Energetics of Yoga
Move beyond form. Practice from subtle awareness.
At some point, practise needs to evolve beyond where does my foot or arm go?
Into a complete, embodied awareness of asana.
From here, practice becomes a living dialogue with subtle forces that organise movement, breath, and inner tone. Through direct experience, we begin to sense how energy moves, where it gathers or disperses, and how balance is felt rather than imposed.
In this 2-hour workshop, we will explore Prana and Apana, two fundamental energetic movements described in yogic philosophy, and learn how to feel and work with them directly in our asana practise.
Rather than adding more technique, the focus is on developing a deeper layer of perception—learning to sense energetic lines in the body and allowing movement to be guided by this awareness.
The workshop will include:
A philosophical introduction to Prana & Apana and their role in yoga practice
Embodied explorations to feel these forces in the body
Applying this awareness to common asanas, including forward folds, backbends, twists, and inversions
Ways to integrate this understanding into your regular practice for greater clarity, balance, and intelligence of movement
This workshop is suitable for dedicated practitioners and teachers who want to deepen their understanding of yoga beyond form, and experience asana as a subtle, living process.
