My Story

Yoga never fascinated me during my early years growing up in Mumbai, India. The image of an old man bearded man doing weird poses never appealed to my teenage self. I saw traditions and religion as tools to control the masses, fostering blind faith. So, I grew up rejecting anything spiritual or religious. But there was always curiosity—a part of me seeking answers, drawn towards mystery. Seeking to understand, I was drawn towards questions no one could provide answers for: Why are we here? Who am I? Where am I going? What is my purpose?

After university in the UK, a pivotal moment with psychedelics - revealed profound answers to these big questions and I found myself establishing a firm meditatation practise. Despite continuing into the corporate world, that transformative experience became my north star. Eventually this quest led me towards yoga. Driven by an undeniable gut feeling, I quit my job, booked a one-way ticket to India, and embarked on a global spiritual quest.

This spiritual quest led me all across the world from India, Nepal, South-East Asia, Europe, South & Central America. I meditated in ashrams, dove deep into yoga, from high up in the Himalayas to the deep oceans in Thailand & Bali. I explored various healing and transformational modalities - movement, breathwork, tantra, qi-gong, martial arts, voice, music etc. Volunteered in farms, taught yoga in various countries, lived in communities immersing myself in diverse cultures and ways of living.

Along the way I picked up and applied many of these things to my own life and shared them with others. All throughout this journey and now I have always come back to certain practices which are my safe haven, my sacred space, my sadhana. And I know, regardless of how much the world is shifting and changing on the outside, I have access to a deep space within myself that is unchanging - reminding me of my true self. I now trust that whatever happens in my life, I can always come back to myself and from this space; life becomes a game - an adventure.

Although my practises are fluid and always changing - borrowing from various practises and lineages, the intention remains the same. To stay connected to the essence and operate from there. My curiosity extends to exploring the diverse ways people, in different lineages, traditions, and cultures, have developed to connect with this inner space. As we move forward, I aim to merge these traditions with contemporary practices, ensuring their relevance to today's world. So that these practices become a living process, thriving only as long as they continue to move and evolve; otherwise, they risk stagnation, like traditional religion.

This is my purpose - my dharma. To walk this path with a sincere heart, to continue to explore different practices across the world, apply these to my life and then from those lived experiences, share these discoveries with the you in a creative way that is relevant & applicable to the modern world. To create a space for healing and transformation, to build a community of like-minded people on this journey together, to explore the deeper questions in life, to move, breath and have fun, to celebrate the beauty of being alive.

As Ram Das says, "We're all just walking each other home."
